HAM opens the first LNG station in Extremadura

HAM has opened the first gas (LNG and CNG) station in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, located in Merida, at exit 341 of the A-5 or Southwest motorway, also known as the Extremadura highway, one of the six radial highways that can be found in Spain.

This new service station has a great strategic importance in the national geography, since it will allow to refuel liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) to all those vehicles that make the route between Madrid and Lisbon. Previously on the same site, HAM had installed a mobile dispenser of both LNG and CNG.

With the opening of the first gas station in Mérida, HAM currently has 30 stations in the national territory and the rest of Europe, of which 23 in Spain (15 LNG/CNG, 5 only  LNG and 3 only CNG), 6 in Italy (5 LNG/CNG and 1 only LNG) and 1 in Slovenia (LNG/CNG).
